The redevelopment team had no accurate structural or architectural documentation for over 200,000 sq. ft. of the existing mall making it nearly impossible to plan renovations or safely build 600 new apartment units above the structure.
Plansrow performed a complete 3D laser scan of the entire facility and delivered LOD 400 As-Built documentation. This included precise point cloud data, Revit and ArchiCAD models, aerial imagery, a virtual walkthrough, and detailed structural mapping down to beam sizes, bolt counts, and welds.
The developers and engineers gained full visibility and confidence to move forward with design, permitting, and construction — saving months of guesswork, reducing risk, and aligning their vision with real-world conditions.
